Case Study #4:
Baitshark

The Challenge

Baitshark was launching a brand-new fishing product designed to outperform its predecessor in both design and results.

The challenge was twofold: build excitement among loyal customers while educating new buyers on why this version was worth switching to.

With limited marketing infrastructure, we needed to act fast and stretch each dollar.

The Process

I helped design and develop campaign graphics, trade show materials, and a launch-ready email nurture series.

We built a segmented email flow introducing the product’s features, followed by promotional offers to drive conversions. The key was clear, repeatable messaging: better product, better bite, better results.

I also helped do research into expanding our affiliate program and getting more people excited about the product.

The Results

Within 60 days, Baitshark saw a 24% increase in online store revenue.

The launch emails averaged a 36% open rate and a 10% CTR, and influencer content led to a 5x return on ad spend (ROAS) on collaborative campaigns.

Key Takeaways

1. Product education is just as important as promotion when replacing a legacy item.

2. Launching fast doesn’t mean skipping strategy — it just means executing clearly and efficiently.
